1. Copyright Ownership

1.1 Author Content

Authors retain full copyright ownership of their original works published on the Platform. The Platform claims no ownership over author-created content beyond the licenses expressly granted in the applicable Publishing Agreement.

1.2 Platform Content

The Platform's name, logo, design, software code, and infrastructure are the exclusive property of Global Open Novel Platform and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

1.3 User-Generated Content

Comments, reviews, and other user-generated content remain the property of their respective creators. By posting such content, users grant the Platform a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display it.

2. License Types

2.1 Basic Publishing Agreement

Authors on the free tier grant the Platform a non-exclusive license to display their works. Authors may simultaneously publish elsewhere. Revenue from advertising is recorded but not withdrawable until a Standard Agreement is signed.

2.2 Standard Licensing Agreement

Signed authors grant the Platform an exclusive license for the rights specified in the agreement (online distribution, AI translation, film adaptation, audiobook). Authors retain all unlicensed rights including game adaptation, comic adaptation, and print publication.

3. Copyright Protection Measures

The Platform implements the following measures to protect copyright:

• Right-click and text selection disabled on reading pages
• Copy-paste protection on chapter content
• Developer tools detection and prevention
• Automated crawling and scraping detection
• Watermarking of premium content

4. DMCA Compliance (US Users)

We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

4.1 Filing a Takedown Notice

If you believe your copyrighted work has been infringed on our Platform, please send a notice containing:

• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
